Free samples and whole pies sold by individual trucks.
There will be a pizza truck festival sponsored by the Big Green Pizza Truck in New Haven, CT. The theme of the event is “look how far this idea has come”. Pizza trucks from all over Connecticut have been invited. The parade will be down I-95 and a big festival in the parking lot of the newly renovated Sport’s Haven with everyone setting up their rigs and selling pizza (slices and whole pies). The schedule: gather at Sport’s Haven at 1:30, drive down Long Wharf to 95 starting at 2:00, take 95 to exit 40 (woodmont Rd), do a u turn under the highway and come back up to Sport’s Haven by 3, sell pizzas from 4-6. Spread the word!
