Come Celebrate “Heirloom Day” at the Winter Farmers’ Market @ Norfield Grange!

On Saturday, March 2nd from 10 am - 2pm.

Come to the market, meet the farmers, gourmet food vendors, crafters and more for the Best Connecticut has to offer — featuring farm fresh seasonal produce and herbs, jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, cheese and yogurt, eggs, beef and pork, poultry, seafood, baked goods, olive oil, live plants, soap and body products, gift ideas, and more.

Learn from the farmers about “heirloom” veggies, fruit, eggs and more all locally grown — “Purple Carrots”, “Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head Potatoes”, “Brown, White, Red and Green Eggs” and more!

Enter “The Best Heirloom” Contest. What is an “heirloom”? An heirloom is something with monetary or sentimental value that has belonged to a family for several generations — example your grandmother’s wedding ring, a piece of furniture, a plant, vegetable or fruit you’ve grown , etc. Please use your imagination! Have your picture taken at the Market with your “heirloom”.

A suggested donation of $5 for the photo will be donated to The WHS Grange Scholarship Fund. At 2:00 pm at the close of the Market a winner will be chosen for “The Best Heirloom” and they will take home a “treasure from the market”! For more information visit the website: or Facebook:  and
